Evolution is a four piece rock band from Canada’s east coast. Their music is best described as high energy rock with a melodic quality that connects with long lasting hooks that kick.
The live show is a fan favourite in the industrial Cape Breton Area, packed with hits and high energy entertainment. Explosive guitar work combined with thunderous bottom end bass and drums topped with diverse vocals and ear pleasing harmonies, make the group instantly recognizable and unforgettable.
Evolution has two recordings complete to date. “Forgive” 2008 spawned a top 10 Hit on K-94 with “What If” and drew the attention of Perchance Publishing (www.perchancepublishing.com) to the song writing talent of lead vocalist Dan McCarthy. 2 tracks from Forgive are signed with Perchance. The most recent CD Sweet Misery captures the evolution of Evolution and has a fresh hard hitting sound that will please fans and garner new ones. The songs have been tested live and the reaction has the band very excited.
